In early 1954 Dad was transferred to Japan, and at first Mom could not accompany him because of a lack of housing.  So Momwent back to New Orleans and lived with grandma from March until November 1954. Dad appears in a few of the early 1954 pictures here, but then he left shortly for Japan.
